"I just wanted to take this opportunity to write about another Realtor who did a wonderful thing for his client and he deserves to be recognized for it. Denny Friesen one of my RE/MAX colleagues, received a floor call from an elderly gentleman who wanted to sell his house. The poor guy, who being very small in stature and elderly, had his home taken over by drug dealers and squatters. All he wanted was someone to sell his home so he could get away from these people.
Luckily for him Denny was the Realtor who answered the phone that day. Denny has a heart of gold. He sold the guys house, which was completely destroyed by all the transinet people that came by, and found him a spot in a retirement community. Not only did Denny sell his house, he paid for 2 dumpsters to be placed at the home while he volunteered himself, a few other Realtor's and friends to clean out all the garbage. Since I was one of the volunteers I can speak as a witness when I say, I have never smelled or seen a house like that in my life. One a few occasions I had to leave because I thought I might throw-up.
Now because of one thoughtful Realtor, this guy no longer has to live in fear everyday and can relax in the retirement he deserves. Thanks Denny for showing compassion, and love for your fellow man".
